The playzone

The PlayZone (aka - The Circle or The Storm)

The playzone is an important aspect in PUBG since it makes the game progress faster and more dynamically. It prevents players from being AFK, and also prevents the game span being longer than 30 minutes.
The zone itself it a circle, marked on the map with white border, which surrounds the available player area. Outside the playzone, the players take a certain amount of damage, which varies depending on the area of the circle. In total there are exactly 8 zones, which radii are a bit less than half of the zone before it. Every zone initially starts with a center point inside the previous, except the first one, which stats at a random location on the boundaries of the map. The blue border circle on the map represents the previous zone location, and it will start to shrink after certain amount of time, and will also take certain amount of time to reach the next zone.
The shrinking point is the center of the next zone, which means that the speed of movement of the blue border depends solely on the distance it is away from the next zone. The further it is, the faster it will shrink towards the next border.

The time it takes for the first circle to show is approximately 2:00 minutes
